Transformational Tuesday: Tyler Hose - Shannon Waltchack

Tyler is responsible for the oversight of the investment activities across the entire Shannon Waltchack managed portfolio and its related funds.  He oversees, analyzes and tracks the investment performance of the properties within the portfolio while maximizing value and mitigating risks. Tyler leads the investment team in underwriting, financial modeling, due diligence and valuation for potential acquisitions. He directs and coordinates with brokers, attorneys, partners, engineers and other consultants and third parties to complete investment due diligence and closing activities on deals across the country.

A native of Huntsville, Tyler relocated to Philadelphia to obtain his undergraduate degree and began working as a management trainee for a steel manufacturer. Over the next several years, Tyler took on larger leadership roles while completing his degree and obtaining his MBA. Following his initial passion for finance, Tyler decided to step out of the manufacturing industry and took a role as a management consultant with advisory firm working with US and Non-US swap dealer banks on their regulatory practices in regard to their Dodd-Frank compliance. He later transitioned into a capital markets advisory role where he worked along-side many of the world’s largest institutional real estate investors and developers.
