Job Description:
The Analyst position at SVN Multifamily is a full-time, exempt developmental role designed for high-energy, self-starting individuals. This role follows a structured pathway to transition into an elite Broker position within a 3–12 month window. The program emphasizes technical proficiency, conservative valuation, and the ability to translate complex data into compelling investment narratives for clients.
Underwriting: Perform detailed financial analysis of multifamily assets, including the review of rent rolls and profit and loss (P&L) statements.
Deliverables: Generate Broker Opinions of Value (BOVs) and contribute content for Offering Memorandums (OMs).
Market Research: Conduct research using systems like CoStar to pull sales and rent comps and draft investment theses.
Data Management: Organize data from multiple sources to support "blitz" calling events and develop buyer lists.
Broker Support & Sales Training: Engage in sales training, shadow senior brokers, and communicate underwritings to a wide range of investors.
Compensation and Pathway
The role begins with a salaried base, transitioning toward a commission-based structure as the individual moves into a Broker role. Criteria for transition include successful completion of mandatory licensing (e.g., RE license) and achievement of performance metrics. The goal is to ensure earnings never drop below the starting analyst salary as commissions begin to flow in.
