Overview:
This Atlanta-based position will be primarily focused on financial analysis and reporting for Brookfield’s interest in the logistics sector in North America.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist with annual business plan preparation and quarterly reforecasts including review of investments plans, effect of changes to return metric, detailed analysis of current strategy, and variance analysis to underwriting
• Review, document and consolidate investment valuations and ensure calculations are in line with internal policies
• Support the internal capital markets team throughout the debt financing process
• Produce / manage financial models used to calculate current / projected performance
• Generate materials for monthly operations meeting
• Maintain / update Argus files for various metrics including leasing, operating and market
• assumptions
• Maintain development reporting at the project level
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with property and corporate accounting teams to ensure
accuracy and the reporting timelines are met
• Develop and update presentations for both internal and external audiences
• Other ad hoc requests as assigned
Preferred Skills:
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or applicable field
• Up to three years’ experience working in corporate finance, a Fortune 100 company, a large • real estate investment company or a public REIT
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated competence in working with large data sets
• Argus Enterprise experience is a plus
• Understand and compile basic proforma financial statements
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task with good time management to meet multiple deadlines
