Job Description:
EBSCO Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join its real estate investment team in Birmingham, AL. This role focuses on underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence for multifamily and industrial real estate acquisitions and developments.
The analyst will evaluate investment opportunities, conduct market research, prepare investment memorandums, and assist throughout the acquisition lifecycle including deal structuring and closing. This is a strong opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in real estate private equity, development, or institutional investment.
Preferred Skills:
Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
Understanding of real estate investment fundamentals (cap rates, IRR, cash flow analysis)
Knowledge of multifamily and industrial real estate markets
Market research and analytical abilities
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines
Experience with tools such as Yardi or CoStar (preferred)
Familiarity with leases, loan documents, and transaction processes (a plus)
